Privacy Policy

This policy is maintained by the CM Smart City team and applies to the website cmsmartview.com. By using the site you agree to the practices below.

1. Account information (Google Sign-In)

To use the visualization tool you sign in with Google. We store only the basic profile information Google shares with us — typically your name, email address and profile photo — and a per-day usage counter for rate limiting. We do not receive your Google password.

2. Uploaded photos

Photos you upload or capture are sent to a third-party image model provider for the sole purpose of generating the improved image you requested. We do not intentionally retain your original uploads on our servers after the request completes. The model provider may temporarily process the image under their own privacy terms.

3. Location data

If you allow the browser location prompt, your approximate latitude, longitude and accuracy are used only to generate the human-readable address stamped onto the output image as a watermark. Location is not stored on our servers beyond the lifetime of your session.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (for example the reverse-geocoded address so we do not query it repeatedly). We do not use tracking cookies for advertising at this time.

5. Third-party services

• Google (authentication)
• Supabase (database and authentication backend)
• An image-generation model provider (to produce the improved image)
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim (to convert coordinates into a human-readable address)

6. Advertising

We may in future display advertisements on this site. If we do, we will update this policy to describe the ad provider, the data they may collect (such as cookies and device identifiers), and how you can opt out.

7. Your rights

You can request a copy or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing contact@cmsmartview.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

CM Smart City is not directed at children under 13. Please do not use the service if you are under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
